Lawsuit Filed Against WWE By Matt Osbourne’s Estate Moved To CT
September 3, 2015 | Posted by
PWInsider reports that the lawsuit filed against the WWE by Michelle James, the mother of Matt “Doink” Osbourne’s children, has been moved from Dallas, Texas to Connecticut. It was moved on Monday, after which WWE filed to have it merged with similar cases from former talents who claim the company didn’t protect them from concussions, CTE and other issues.
WWE has said in the past that the talents are being provoked by Massachusetts lawyer Konstantine Kyros, who misled them into thinking there is a lot of money waiting for them. The lawsuits were moved to CT because when the talent signed their contracts, there was a clause stating that any legal issues would be settled there. CT is where WWE is located.
