Backstage Note on TNA Contract Status of Mike Santana

As previously reported, there’s been strong interest from WWE to sign reigning TNA World Champion Mike Santana, whose current TNA Wrestling deal is expected to expire in July. PWInsider has more details on when his contract will expire.

According to the update, Santana’s deal runs through mid-July, so his contract expiration date is nearing. Mike Santana has his next title defense scheduled for the end of the month at Slammiversary 2026, where he puts the belt on the line against former champion Nic Nemeth.

TNA Slammiversary is scheduled for Sunday, June 28, at the Agganis Arena in Boston, Massachusetts. It will be broadcast live on pay-per-view.
