Backstage Report on Jade Cargill’s Next Two Likely PLE Opponents

Jade Cargill may have failed to take back her championship from Rhea Ripley at Clash in Italy, but WWE still has big plans for her. TRNBCKL Gold claims to have some inside info on the current plans for “The Storm” at two upcoming Premium Live Events.
Right now, the goal is reportedly to build towards a Jade Cargill versus Charlotte Flair match at Summerslam. Flair’s interference during the Clash in Italy match was just a part of a long-term build towards this ultimate goal, according to their sources. Given both women’s size and stature, a clash of some sort ahs been inevitable for a while.
But might Cargill be a champion again when that clash happens? The same sources are saying that Cargill is likely to challenge Tiffany Stratton for the Women’s United States Championship at Night of Champions next weekend. If that is to happen, we should see tonight’s Smackdown say something about it. Charlotte Flair has held 16 WWE Women’s World Championships, as well as the Women’s Tag Team and NXT titles. Though the U.S. title might sound like a step down, it isn’t hard to imagine an angle where she wants to be the first grand slam Women’s Champion, now that that designation actually means something.
