Ross Pearson Discusses His UFC 191 Win Over Paul Felder

Speaking at the post-fight press conference for UFC 191 (via MMAjunkie), UFC lightweight fighter Ross Pearson discussed his win over Paul Felder. Below are some highlights.

Ross Pearson on his peformance: “I didn’t want to just go in there and all crazy and get caught. It’s happened in the past. That’s probably some of the reasons why I’ve gone win, loss, win, loss, win, loss. I get a little reckless at times, a little too eager to knock someone out. That’s probably my own downfall. So it was definitely hard to stay patient, stay relaxed. But it got the win. It got the job done, and we had a good fight.”

Pearson on Felder’s frustration on how close the fight was: “I could just see it: In his face after the fight – it was a close fight – I knew he was frustrated with himself.”
