Tye Dillinger Has Requested His WWE Release
February 20, 2019 | Posted by
– Tye Dillinger announced on Tuesday night that he asked for his release from WWE. Dillinger posted to Instagram late Tuesday night to note that he asked for his release at the Smackdown taping. You can see his statement below.
Dillinger did not note whether the release was granted, but the statement seems to suggest that his time with the company is done. He signed with WWE in 2013 and worked in NXT, eventually hitting the main roster in January of 2017. He had a brief feud with Aiden English early on that culminated in a match on the 2017 Backlash pre-show, and feuded with AJ Styles and Baron Corbin for the US Championship up until Hell in a Cell 2017.
