Dave Bautista as Vic and Kumail Nanjiani as Stu in “Stuber.”
Kumail Nanjiani isn’t necessarily known for his action cred, but that doesn’t keep his Stuber character from trying to help Batista in a new clip. You can see the clip below from the 20th Century Fox action comedy, which stars Nanjiani and Batista alongside Iko Uwais, Natalie Morales, Betty Gilpin, Jimmy Tatro with Mira Sorvino and Karen Gillan. It releases on July 12th.
When a mild-mannered Uber driver named Stu (Kumail Nanjiani) picks up a passenger (Dave Bautista) who turns out to be a cop hot on the trail of a brutal killer, he’s thrust into a harrowing ordeal where he desperately tries to hold onto his wits, his life and his five-star rating.
