G.I. Joe’s Snake Eyes Spinoff Begins Production In Japan
Paramount Pictures has begun production on their Snake Eyes spinoff from the G.I. Joe franchise, with filming kicking off in Japan. The studio announced early on Friday morning that the film, which stars Henry Golding as the titular ninja, began production in Tokyo. You can see some posts on Twitter announcing the filming below.
The film also stars Andrew Koji, Samara Weaving, Úrsula Corberó, Haruka Abe, Iko Uwais, Takehiro Hira. Robert Schwentke is directing from a script by Evan Spiliotopoulos, which sees the famous G.I. Joe squad member seeking to avenge the death of his father by joining a ninja clan.
The film hits theaters on October 23rd.
