Conor McGregor, Dana White, Amanda Nunes & More Comment on Kobe Bryant’s Passing
Kobe Bryant
– Kobe Bryant’s passing has hit the entire world, and the MMA community had their own reactions over the past few days to the news including Conor McGregor, Dana White and more. You can see reactions from Twitter by White, Amanda Nunes, Cris Cyborg, Daniel Cormier and more, as well as McGregor’s comments on the tragedy from his appearance at the Grammy Awards on Sunday.
“Ah, it’s very, very sad news,” McGregor said. “It’s iconic that — I’m here and he used to play in this arena as wlel, you know? It’s sad news; lost his daughter as well and — I don’t know. It’s hard to kind of get up for this event. I’m very happy to be here, but I’m sad at the same time, so I don’t know. It’s just a very sad time.”
McGregor added, “For me, the first time I ever came to America, Kobe was one of the big stars and one of the men that jumped out. We don’t really understand basketball back home too much but Kobe, his star transcends sports. A great man, and I would have loved to meet him. It’s a very sad day.”

Thankyou for inspiring us and teaching the mindset on how to be great, still working hard and practicing your talk about being “first one in the gym and last one out “ ❤️ Thankyou for being such a inspiration!

Like many fans around the world I didn't get the chance to actually meet Kobe. But when things got difficult for me, choosing to work harder in the dark, choosing to try to be better today than yesterday, choosing Mamba mentality, https://t.co/HRXe1VTIrK

those are the things my team and I talked about most and actually adopted. He had every damn scoring record you could want but I'm most grateful to him for those assists to my life.
