Jumanji: Wild Adventures Game Coming to Consoles Later This Year, Based on Movies Starring The Rock
Outright Games has announced the upcoming release of the new video game, Jumanji: Wild Adventures. The new video game is set in the world of the recent live-action films starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and have grossed over a $1 billion worldwide. It’s currently in the works for consoles and Windows PC, and it’s due out later this year.
Wild Adventures will be a multiplayer adventure game where players will take the roles of Dr. Smolder Bravestone, Ruby Roundhouse, Franklin “Mouse” Finbar, and Professor Shelly Oberon “in a hilarious and exciting” quest in search of treasure. Players will have to work together in the world of Jumanji in order to find the Jewel of Jumanji, a mysterious artifact that will help them return them.
The game will also serve as a follow-up to Outright Games’ previous entry, Jumanji: The Video Game. The sequel will be four times bigger with a vast sandbox to explore, including jungles, forgotten villages, icy mountains, deadly encounters, and unlockable special items.
Players will be able to quest alone with solo play or team up with four-player local co-op. Each of the explorers will have their own unique personalities and strengths, along with unlockable skills and abilities they can use to customize their experience.
Jumanji: Wild Adventures arrives on November 3. The game will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox X/S. You can also check out the reveal trailer for the new game below.
