Sony Delays Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, Sets Dates For Bad Boys 4 & Venom 3

Sony has made a host of release date shifts including delaying Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse and putting Bad Boys 4 & Venom 3 on the calendar. Deadline reports that the studio has made several updates to its release schedule as you can see below:

New Release Dates

* Bad Boys 4 is set to release on June 14th, 2024.
* Venom 3 is set for release on July 12th, 2024.

Delays

* Gran Turismo has moved from August 11th, 2023 to August 25th, 2023 with a sneak preview on August 18th.
* Kraven The Hunter has moved from October 6th, 2023 to August 30th, 2024.
* The Ghostbusters: Afterlife sequel has moved from December 20th, 2023 to March 29th, 2024.
* Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse moves from March 29th, 2024 to an unscheduled date.
* Karate Kid moves from June 7th, 2024 to December 13th, 2024.
* They Listen moves from August 30th, 2024 to an unscheduled date.

Releasing Earlier

* Madame Web has moved up from February 16th, 2024 to February 14th, 2024.

The report notes that Kraven’s move is specifically so that the film can be promoted with Aaron Taylor-Johnson once the SAG-AFTRA strikes is resolved. As for Beyond the Spider-Verse, the report notes that several voice performances still need to be completed which is not happening during the strike, so it needs the extra time. The Ghostbusters sequel completed filming but still needs the actors for the post-production phase.
