Tony Khan is proud of what AEW has accomplished in 2024, saying the year has had some of the company’s best moments. Khan spoke with AMNY for a new interview promoting Dynamite Grand Slam next week and spoke about the company’s year thus far, highlighting some of his favorite moments.

“This year alone we’ve had so many of our best moments,” Khan said. “We had the AEW World Tag Team Championship, when Sting and Darby Allin defeated the Young Bucks to become the World Tag Team Champions. Sting and Darby Allin, they retired undefeated. It was one of the greatest matches ever and I think it was one of the greatest nights of my life to have at Revolution in Greensboro.”

He continued, “I gotta say, maybe one of the greatest moments of my life personally was when Bryan Danielson wrestled the great champion Swerve Strickland at Wembley Stadium and Bryan Danielson became the AEW World Champion. That was amazing.”

Danielson defeated Strickland at All In to claim the championship and will (if cleared) battle Nigel McGuinness at Grand Slam.
