Jey Uso Recalls Lil Wayne Walking OUt With Him At WrestleMania 40

Jey Uso was accompanied to the ring by Lil Wayne at WrestleMania last year, and he recently looked back at the walk-out as a “full-circle” moment. The rapper came out with Jey for his match with Jimmy Uso at last year’s show, and Jey reflected on the moment in an interview with the Nightcap podcast.
“I gotta be honest, man, Lil Wayne,” Uso began (h/t to Fightful). “Yeah, man. I love him. We listen to him. We listen to him since coming up, Carter One. Come on, man.”
He continued, “The dope part is, when I first started wrestling, me and my brother came out to ‘Go DJ.’ That was our walk-out song on the little indecent scene. Just to have him walk me out at a big WrestleMania on-stage, it’s like full-circle. Yeet.”
Jey defeated Jimmy in the match. He will be challenging for a World Title at this year’s show after winning the men’s Royal Rumble match earlier this month.
