John Cena & Logan Paul Trade Words On WWE Smackdown, Cena Calls Paul a ‘Parasite’

John Cena & Logan Paul had a war of words on this week’s episode of WWE Smackdown as they head into Clash in Paris. Friday’s show saw Cena down to the ring but get quickly interrupted by Paul, who mocked the Irish crowd and told them to shut up before saying he was offended at being called an outsider given that he’s been performing at a high level for four years.

Paul called Cena a sell-out and mocked his getting naked at the Oscars, saying that Cena’s been doing the same five moves for his whole career and is pretending to be someone else while Paul has stayed authentic. He said that he’s here in WWE to stay and called it his house.

Cena said that Paul was a future WWE main eventer and champion, but that Paul is not an outsider but a disappointment because Paul doesn’t respect WWE; he just uses it as “some branding opportunity to buy another Pokemon card.” Cena said Paul has had 23 matches while he has given his heart and soul to wrestling for 23 years. He accused Paul of seeking to take from the business and called him a parasite.

Cena went on to say that people want to see him face people like Dom Mysterio, AJ Styles, Seth Rollins, The Usos, and Jacob Fatu but that Paul has “sucked opportunities” away from him as he only has a few appearances left. He said Paul knew all about hustle, but nothing about loyalty and respect. He said he’s read the news and Paul has a lot of legal trouble, then told Paul to bring his A game at WWE Clash in Paris. Paul went for a punch, but Cena ducked it and hit an Attitude Adjustment.
