More Details On Edris Enofe Exiting WWE

Edris Enofe posted to his Twitter account on Monday, sharing a video announcing that he chose to exit WWE and thanking all the people at WWE for his time there. On today’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Enofe’s deal with WWE had not expired yet, but that he asked for his release which WWE granted.

Meltzer added that he was recruited to WWE likely due to his physique and athleticism, and that it doesn’t seem as if WWE was ultimately impressed with him.

It remains to be seen what Enofe does next, or if he continues to pursue wrestling.

Enofe last competed for WWE at an NXT house show in late July. His last televised appearance was on the July 18th episode of WWE Evolve. During his time in the company, he was largely in a tag team with Malik Blade.
