Wyatt Sicks Defeat Street Profits On WWE Smackdown, Confronted By MFTs

It looks like the Wyatt Sicks have new challengers, as they retained their WWE Tag Team Titles on Smackdown only to be confronted by the MFTs. Friday night’s episode saw Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis defeat The Street Profits to retain the Tag Team Championships in a match that saw Nikki Cross get involved, saving Gacy from being pinned at one point by putting his feet on the ropes. B-Fab went after Cross but was taken out and the Wyatt Sicks duo were eventually able to hit The Plague to pick up the win and retain their titles.

After the match, the MFTs – who made their presence known earlier in the night by taking out the retuning Shinsuke Nakamura as well as Sami Zayn – appeared at ringside and stepped up onto the apron behind the Wyatt Sicks. JC Matteo, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Talla Tonga, and Solo Sikoa all came down to the ring and stared off with the group, leading to Cross going face to face with Sikoa. Sikoa signaled to the MFTs and they backed off, leaving the ring while continuing to stare the champions down.

The Wyatt Sicks’ WWE Tag Team Championship reign currently stands at 92 days. They defeated The Street Profits on the July 11th, 2025 episode of WWE Smackdown to capture the titles.
