Riho Returns To Competition At STARDOM Event

STARDOM held an event this morning to celebrate Starlight Kid’s tenth anniversary in wrestling. Starlight Kid is the current Wonder of Stardom Champion and has held multiple titles during her tenure with the company. The event did feature participation from AEW talent, as Riho made her first appearance for STARDOM since 2020 to help celebrate Starlight Kid.

Riho teamed with Rina & Ram Kaichow to take on Hina, Yuna Mizumori & fellow AEW talent Emi Sakura. Riho’s most recent AEW appearance was on Semptember 20, where she lost to Mercedes Mone in a TBS Championship match. Riho’s most recent AEW run led to much online conversation. Gail Kim’s comments about her size & presentation led to back & forth from both sides, with Kenny Omega getting involved on her behalf.

It is unknown at this time when Riho will make her way back to AEW, but she does work regularly in Japan when she’s back home.
