CM Punk Reveals His Surprise When Disney Called Him for Zootopia 2

During a recent interview with Busted Open Radio, WWE Superstar and reigning World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk discussed getting the role of one of the Zebros in Disney’s hit animated sequel, Zootopia 2, along with fellow WWE Superstar Roman Reigns. Punk revealed his shock about getting the call to voice a character in the film.

CM Punk explained (via Fightful), “I find myself in these situations all the time where I’m just looking around like, ‘Me?’ When I got the call for Zootopia 2, I was like, ‘Huh? What? Disney specifically wants me? Okay.'” The champ continued, “And there’s a bit of imposter syndrome because I wanna be like, ‘Okay, who said no? Who are the first 13 people that said no to this?’ But, sometimes you just gotta realize, like, no, no, you’re good at what you do, and people wanna work with you.”

Disney’s Zootopia 2 is a global smash hit, and it’s become Disney’s highest-grossing animated movie of all time, grossing nearly $1.6 billion worldwide. You can check out 411’s official review RIGHT HERE.

As for Punk, he just defended his World Heavyweight Title against Bron Breakker last Monday on WWE Raw. He’s already got his next movie lined up, the horror-thriller Night Patrol, which arrives in theaters on January 16.
