The Rock recently commented on his conversations with WWE for WrestleMania 43.

Ever since WWE announced that WrestleMania 43 would take place in Saudi Arabia, there have been speculations about The Rock returning to compete at the event. It will be a historic event, as it will be the first time that The Show of Shows will be held outside North America.

During a recent interaction with Raffi Talks, Dwayne Johnson was asked about possible negotiations between him and WWE for WrestleMania 43.

While he didn’t give a direct answer, The Great One said that he is excited for “the brand” of WrestleMania and for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, adding that the conversations that he has been having are “good” and will “always be good.”

“I can tell you I’m excited for the brand of WrestleMania. I’m excited for the Kingdom because that is a big show. I’m also excited, not only for the brand, but I’m excited for our athletes to be able to participate in an event like that, and that is a global event. I can’t wait. In terms of the conversations I’ve been having, it’s all good. It will always be good,” The Rock said.

The Final Boss hasn’t appeared on WWE programming since last year’s Elimination Chamber event in Toronto, where John Cena shockingly turned heel and joined hands with his former rival. However, there was no follow-up to the story, as Johnson disappeared from WWE TV after the event.

The People’s Champion is a former WWE World Champion and Intercontinental Champion. He’s one of the biggest stars in wrestling history and the Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment after debuting at Survivor Series 1996, having iconic feuds with the likes of Steve Austin during the WWE Attitude Era. His signature Rock Bottom is one of the most recognized finishers in wrestling. He has also starred in films such as The Scorpion King, San Andreas, Gridiron Gang, Hercules, and The Game Plan.
