Anti-ICE Chants Return at AEW Grand Slam Australia 2026

As previously reported, AEW taped Grand Slam Australia 2026 earlier today in Sydney, Australia at the Qudos Bank Arena. The anti-ICE chants inspired by Brody King were a major point of discussion over the last week, with there even being rumors that Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) blocked King from appearing on AEW Dynamite earlier this week due to the chants. WBD later issued a statement, denying the rumor.
Well, as many likely anticipated, the anti-ICE chants continued at today’s event, making an appearance before the Brody King vs. MJF AEW World Title match.
Clips have surfaced on social media, showing fans loudly chanting “**** ICE” before the start of King and MJF’s title match. Clips of the anti-ice chants at the event are available at the above link, HERE, and also HERE.
AEW Grand Slam Australia 2026 will air via delay later tonight on TNT at 8:00 pm ET. That means AEW and WBD have time to censor or edit the chants out of the broadcast if they wish. The show will also be simulcast on HBO Max.
