Thekla Reflects On Alliance With Julia Hart & Skye Blue, What They’ve Learned From Each Other

Thekla found a strong alliance in the Sisters of Sin, and she recently spoke about joining forces with Julia Hart & Skye Blue. The three are known as the Triangle of Madness in AEW and formed back in July of last year. The group has found plenty of success so far, not the least of which is Thekla’s current AEW Women’s World Championship reign.

Thekla spoke with The Sportster for a new interview ahead of her match with Kris Statlander at AEW Revolution. During the interview she spoke about working with Hart and Blue, noting that they’ve helped her figure out the landscape in AEW and that she sees a lot of potential in them. On Working With Hart & Blue:

“I think it’s very cool to work with those two. Because they’re they’re both a little younger than me, they haven’t been around that much. Yet in the wrestling business, I’m almost like — we’re going nine years, 10 years? It’s like, I’ve been around.

“Those two know AEW, though you know what I mean? So they helped me navigate a little bit and gave me some insider information that helped me understand very quickly. Like, ‘Oh that’s how I have to do this, and that’s who I have to be afraid of.’ That kind of stuff. In German, we say, ‘Wissen ist Macht.’ It means like, ‘wisdom is power.’ If you know, if you get that inside knowledge, that’s how I [became Women’s Champion] in eight months.”

On Seeing Potential In the Two:

“The other thing is, I see a lot of potential in them. Julia hald the TBS Title, she’s a star. Skye is insane and out of her mind when it comes to the blood matches. And they both look great. You know, I see a lot of myself in them, and I see a lot of talent they have that I try to incorporate into what I’m doing. I also hope that I can give them a little bit of inspiration or knowledge about how to make it and navigate yourself in this business.”
