Big Boom AJ and QT Marshall kicked off AEW Revolution: Zero Hour with a victory over The Infantry. Sunday night’s pre-show saw AJ and Marshall open the show against the Shane Taylor Promotions tag team.
The action ended up shifting to the outside when Taylor, who was at ringside for the match, knocked the hat off of Wayne Brady who was ringside. Brady then slapped Taylor and got yanked over the barricade, but The Rizzler showed up. He got shoved to the floor and Big Justice speared Taylor.
meanwhile, AJ went to the top and hit a crossbody down to the floor on Carlie Bravo. Bravo was thrown back into the ring and Marshall went up top to hit Boomsday Device for the win.
You can see the highlights from the match below. This marks AJ’s first match in AEW since the November 22nd episode of AEW Collision. He teamed up with Marshall at ROH Boxing Day Brawl on December 20th.
