Several indie talents seem to be signed to WWE ID deals following the recent Tryout session.
According to Fightful Select, the company held an EVOLVE taping this past week, where a number of WWE ID talents were revealed.
According to the report, Notorious Mimi, who used her old ring name, Sloane Jacobs, at the tapings, is a confirmed name on the list of new signees. Jacobs is a former WWE Superstar. She signed a deal with the promotion in early 2022 following a successful Tryout session. She performed on NXT as Sloane Jacobs but was released from her contract in November 2022. Last month, she confirmed on social media that she would be participating in another Tryout session.
Valentina Rossi, who previously worked in AEW as an enhancement talent, has also been signed to a WWE ID deal. Rossi worked under the ring name Gianna Capri.
Additionally, Fallyn Grey has also signed a deal with WWE as an ID prospect. She will be using the Veronica Haven name, which the company recently filed a trademark for. Also, freelance wrestler Airica Demia is also a WWE ID prospect. In line with what Bodyslam+ reported earlier today, she will be working as Anya Rune moving forward. Demia is a second-generation wrestler who has already competed for the WWE ID Women’s Championship twice. She has also appeared in NWA and ROH in the past.
