It looks like plans may have changed for WWE Superstar LA Knight. BodySlam+ has an update on the former WWE United States Champions, as fans have been speculating over his status after he wasn’t mentioned on last night’s show.
According to the report, sources informed the outlet that Knight was originally scheduled to take part in a short program with Gunther. However, WWE reportedly pivoted to have Gunther feud with the WWE Undisputed Champion, Cody Rhodes, instead.
It’s unknown what WWE has planned for the Megastar’s creative direction, but for now, he remains part of the company. During the April 27 edition of Monday Night Raw, Knight confronted The Usos about reforming The Bloodline with Roman Reigns. Knight warned his WrestleMania 42 tag team partners that The Bloodline’s power corrupts absolutely, and when that happens, it will be his business and not just family business.
Although LA Knight didn’t appear on Raw this week, he was in Minneapolis over the weekend to promote WWE SummerSlam 2026 in the city. He also threw out the opening pitch at a Minnesota Twins game, which he attended along with former Maximum Male Models stablemate Maxxine Dupri (See below).
