Florida Governor DeSantis Takes Issue With Andre the Giant’s Rank In 2024 SI Top 20 WWE Superstars List

Ron DeSantis made note of a list of Sports Illustrated’s Top 20 WWE Superstars of All Time list from a few years ago and used it as an opportunity to weigh in. The Florida governer looked at a bit of engagement bait on Twitter, which shared the 2024 list posted to Sports Illustrated of the greatest WWE Superstars of all time.

DeSantis, who has expressed his wrestling fandom in the past, took the bait and reposted the list, explaining his issues with it by saying:

“Among other quibbles with this list, Andre the Giant should be higher.”

DeSantis’ post went viral, with responses across the board to the polarizing politician. For the record, the list was written by Sid Pullar III and is as follows:
