Tiffany Stratton Retains Women’s US Title On WWE Smackdown With Chelsea Green’s Help

Tiffany Stratton is still the WWE Women’s United States Champion, getting an assist from Chelsea Green to retain the title on WWE Smackdown. Stratton held an open challenge on Friday night’s episode, which was answered by Lash Legend with Nia Jax at her side.
Legend got an advantage after Jax interfered on her behalf. However, Green stopped Jax and the distraction allowed Stratton to roll Legend up to get the victory after just over nine minutes. You can see clips from the match below.
Green has been seeking an alliance with Stratton in recent weeks, only for Stratton to turn her down. Green, a former Women’s United States Champion herself, has been out of action with an ankle injury and underwent a heart procedure earlier this month.
Stratton’s title reign now stands at 29 days. She defeated Giulia for the title on the April 24th episode of WWE Smackdown.
