Danhausen Reacts As New York Knicks Clinch First NBA Title in Over 50 Years

WWE Superstar Danhausen has reacted to the New York Knicks’ drought-breaking NBA Championship victory.

The New York Knicks held off the San Antonio Spurs in a tense back-and-forth match, winning by 94-90 to claim their first NBA title in over 50 years.

This marks their third NBA Championship victory in history. The last time the New York-based team won the title was in 1973.

Following their victory, WWE’s Danhausen took to social media and declared himself the king of New York. He also congratulated the team on their drought-breaking triumph.

He wrote:

“DANHAUSEN IS THE KING OF NEW YORK! CONGRATULATIONS, @nyknicks, THE KINGS OF NEW YORK! UNCURSED!”

Danhausen famously cursed the New York Knicks during the first round. However, he reversed the curse after the New York-based team fell 2-1. The NBA outfit went on to win 15 out if their next 16 matches, including four out of five matches in the finals.
