Rhea Ripley Removed From WWE Night of Champions Poster, Replaced by Tiffany Stratton

As previously reported, WWE SmackDown broadcasters Wade Barrett and Joe Tessitore announced that reigning WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley was sidelined with a knee injury during last Friday’s show. With Ripley now injured, WWE has not updated its recently released promotional graphic for this month’s Night of Champions premium live event, replacing Ripley with WWE Women’s US Champion Tiffany Stratton.
The new promotional graphic for the event, featuring Stratton in place of Rhea Ripley, was discovered on the banner of WWE’s YouTube channel (see below). Ripley’s removal from the promotional graphic suggests she won’t be appearing at the event, and her injury appears to be legitimate and will likely keep her on the shelf for a while.
WWE has not yet announced Stratton for the upcoming WWE PLE. Stratton’s WWE Women’s US Championship has yet to be defended on a WWE PLE show since the belt was created in December 2024.
WWE Night of Champions 2026 takes place on Saturday, June 27. The event will be held at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It will air live on the ESPN App in the U.S. and on Netflix internationally.
