WWE Moves Sheamus To Alumni Section Of Roster After Reports Of Exit

Sheamus’ exit from WWE appears to be official, with the former WWE Champion moved to the alumni section of the website roster. As noted earlier, it was reported that Sheamus will be exiting WWE once his contract expires. Soon after, he updated his social media handles to S. Farrelly, reflecting his his real name of Steven Farrelly.

WWE has now moved Sheamus to the alumni secion of WWE.com, an action that typically indicates an exit from the company.

It should be noted that this does not mean he is free of his contract yet. For example, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are both in the alumni section, and they are not expected to be free agents until the end of July.

Sheamus last competed on the November 17th episode of WWE Raw and underwent shoulder surgery afterward. He is a 20 year veteran of WWE and a former WWE Champion, World Heavyweight Champion, United States Champion and more.
