Kevin Nash Says The nWo Should Have Stayed Smaller

On the latest episode of Kliq This, marking the anniversary of formation of the nWo, Kevin Nash reflected on the faction’s genesis and said it would have been better off keeping its membership tight. The group debuted at WCW Bash at the Beach with Nash, Hulk Hogan and Scott Hall. It started as a smaller group, but famously got bloated with members which hurt its “elite” status and watered it down. You can check out his comments below:
On the Stable Growing Too Big:
“Hogan only turned one time, and that was that night. Anything after that — there were some great members, but I think if we would have kept it smaller it would have been better. If we would have kept it to X-Pac, Scott Steiner, and Bagwell, that would have been plenty.”
On leaving WWE with Scott Hall:
“Scott and I, we weren’t exactly loved when we left the WWF. We didn’t come in and get Mr. Congeniality awards when we walked into the Turner locker room. I mean, 90 percent of it was a work, but nobody knew it.”
