Pat McAfee Reveals Title & Release Date of His Debut Album

Former WWE personality and current ESPN host Pat McAfee has announced the title and the release date of his maiden album.

Last December, McAfee revealed that he had been working on his debut album. Earlier today, McAfee took to social media to reveal that his album titled “The Diary of a Polarizing Figure” will be released on August 14.

Here’s what he wrote:

“For as long as I can remember, my mere existence has made people hate my guts. I’ve been writing songs about it for 20yrs & it’s time to let them aht [SIC].. A LOT of headlines & narratives… If I was to die, I’d like my kids to know exactly who their dad is.

🗣🗣 AUGUST 14TH, 2026!”

Pat McAfee generated immense criticism from fans and several WWE Superstars for his inclusion in the Cody Rhodes-Randy Orton feud on the Road to WrestleMania 42. It was later reported that McAfee’s inclusion was a TKO call. During one of his promos, McAfee said that Randy would save wrestling by capturing his 15th WWE World Title at ‘Mania, and if he didn’t do that, he would never appear on a wrestling show again.

As it turned out, Orton turned on McAfee in the closing stages of the Undisputed WWE Championship match, paving the way for Cody to capitalize on the opportunity and execute his finisher to secure the pinfall. McAfee subsequently announced that his pro wrestling career was done and dusted.
