An update on Ludwig Kaiser’s ongoing battery case, as both sides prepare for a hearing later this month.

According to F4WOnline, a “notice of appearance” was filed on Thursday, October 8, by alleged victim Richard Reap’s attorney, Bruce A. Mount Jr.

Bruce is a personal injury attorney, and he works for the same law firm (NeJame Law in Orlando) that Reap’s previously listed attorney worked for. Maintaining his own counsel is seen as a possible sign that Richard Reap may consider filing a civil suit against Ludwig Kaiser once the ongoing criminal case is settled.

As noted, Kaiser is facing a misdemeanor battery charge stemming from an incident in late April 2026. According to the complainant, Ludwig Kaiser physically assaulted him in the elevator of his Orlando apartment complex after Reap took exception to the WWE and AAA talent making out “aggressively” with his female partner.

However, according to Kaiser, Reap abused his partner and threatened to call ICE on her after being offended by the couple hugging each other in the elevator. A motion seeking dismissal of the case was filed on July 15, and a hearing is scheduled for Monday, October 19.
