Brock Lesnar Reportedly Won’t Be Playable In WWE 2K24
As previously reported, WWE and 2K Games announced the full roster for WWE 2K24 yesterday, which did not include Brock Lesnar. It also didn’t include talents like Drew McIntyre although that has since been corrected.
Insider Gaming reports that it was too late to remove Lesnar from the game entirely, but he will not be playable when the game is released. His character and game files are still in the game, however. This means that hackers could potentially use him, or someone could make a CAW if his moveset/attire are still in the game.
The reason he has not been removed outright is because the latest allegations against Vince McMahon, which implicated Lesnar, were revealed late into the game’s development. Although it should be noted that the lawsuit against McMahon never mentioned Lesnar by name.
It’s possible that Lesnar is in the game as a minor inclusion in different modes. 2K has yet to comment beyond not having his name on the roster yesterday.
