Sean Waltman Says He Got A $40,000 Residual Check For WCW vs. nWo: World Tour

Sean Waltman made good money in residuals for the N64 game WCW vs. nWo: World Tour. Waltman spoke with Shawn “RGT 85” Long for his new book The Art of N64 Wrestling Games and said that he didn’t do anything for the game but got paid a good amount for being featured in it.

“It was way different, I didn’t do anything and knew nothing about the WCW/nWo game,” Waltman recalled (per Fightful). “Nothing to do with choosing my moveset and I don’t think they started scanning us for video games yet.”

He continued, “I just remember receiving a check for 40k in residuals for it. It might’ve made more, but that was my first check.”
