Abel Trujillo Dedicates UFC Fight Night 88 Win to Jordan Parsons

Abel Trujillo spoke following his win at UFC Fight Night 88. Some highlights are below:

On his performance: “Everybody had me winning by a big margin, but I just wanted to go out there and get the victory. Because if you overlook somebody like that, that can be your downfall. The guy was tough. I feel like I was off. Maybe I didn’t put the right things in my body. I felt a little depleted. I threw a teep kick in the first; I felt my big toe all the way back. Right now I’m starting to feel it, but I don’t know if I felt it in the fight. Right now it’s just more of me catching my rhythm, probably respecting him a little bit too much in the first.”

On dedicating the fight to the late Jordan Parsons: “It was really hard. Jordan was a really close training partner of mine, so it was hard. This fight was for Jordan. That’s it.”
