Chris Weidman Doubles Down, Says Israel Adesanya Wouldn’t Have a Chance Against Him
Chris Weidman is sticking with his opinion that Israel Adesanya is overrated, firing off at the fighter in a couple of new tweets. Weidman, who made the comment after Adesanya’s win over Anderson Silva over the weekend, took to Twitter to double down on his comments as you can see below.
In the tweets, Weidman says Adesanya “wouldn’t have much of a chance against me” and argues that the fighter hasn’t faced the top-tier talent. When someone challenged him on the post, he said, “Just my opinion. He hasn’t fought [one] top [five] guy. No top wrestler or jitsu guy.”
He wouldn’t have much of a chance against me. Has he fought a top 5 guy yet ? A jitsu guy or top wrestler?

Got a lot of Twitter fingers coming at me about saying Israel is a little overrated. Just my opinion. He hasn’t fought 1 top 5 guy. No top wrestler or jitsu guy. Was a -700 fave over Silva??? According to odds after seeing fight showed he was overrated. Close fight
