Conor McGregor Wants to Compete in Brazil After Watching UFC on ESPN+ 2
Conor McGregor took to Twitter to comment on the energy at UFC on ESPN+ 2 and says he wants to compete in Brazil. McGregor posted to his account noting that he nearly fought in Rio de Janeiro last year and praised the “amazing atmosphere” at Saturday’s show.
McGregor will be able to fight again starting in April after he completes his six-month suspension in relation to the brawl that followed his loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229.
What an amazing atmosphere at UFC Brazil tonight.
I would LOVE to compete there for all the passionate Brazilian fans at some stage of my career.
I was so close to securing a bout in Rio last year. It was essentially a done deal.
Maybe next time.
