Gokhan Saki vs. Khalil Rountree Set for UFC 226

The UFC has officially announced a new light heavyweight fight for UFC 226 in July. Gokhan Saki will face Khalil Rountree for the upcoming fight card in the summer.

Previously, both men were scheduled to face each other at UFC 219 last December. However, the fight was scratched after Saki had to withdraw due to injury. Now, the fight has been rebooked and will hopefully go off later in July.

Saki looks to keep up his momentum after his successful Octagon debut at UFC Fight Night 117. Meanwhile, Khalil Rountree had his loss against Michał Oleksiejczuk at UFC 219 overturned due to Oleksiejczuk testing positive for clomiphene.

UFC 226 is set for July 7 at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada. The main card will be broadcast live on pay-per-view. Prelims will be shown on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass. You can check out the announcement tweet for the fight below.
