Ovince Saint Preux Out of UFC 235 Bout With Misha Cirkunov, Johnny Walker Wants to Replace Him
Ovince Saint Preux has been forced to withdraw from his scheduled UFC 235 bout against Misha Cirkunov. Saint Preux’s management team, KO Reps, confirmed the news over the weekend on Twitter. This leaves Cirkunov without an opponent just days before the fight card.
However, one UFC light heavyweight is offering to step up on short notice to replace Saint Preux in Johnny Walker. Walker shared a post on Instagram offering to become Cirkunov’s replacement opponent. You can check out that post below.
Johnny Walker is currently unbeaten in the UFC. He’s coming off a first-round knockout victory over Justin Ledet at UFC Fight Night: Assunção vs. Moraes 2.
UFC 235 is currently scheduled for March 2. The event will be held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event will be broadcast live on pay-per-view. Prelims will be shown on ESPN and UFC Fight Pass.
#ufc235 takes a hit as OSP has been forced to pull out due to injury. He should not be sidelined for an extended period of time. #ufc
