Jon Fitch Signs With Bellator MMA
March 1, 2018 | Posted by
MMA Fighting reports that Jon Fitch (30-7-1) has signed a multi-fight, multi-year deal with Bellator MMA. The news will be officially announced in the near future, along when when he will debut.
He’s on a four-fight winning streak, winning his last four fights in WSOF/PFL. He’s a former WSOF welterweight champion and left the promotion without losing the belt. When WSOF was rebranded to PFL, they decided to vacate all their titles and Fitch asked for his release. He spent a lot of time in the UFC, losing to welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre by unanimous decision in 2008. He has wins over Thiago Alves, Diego Sanchez, Erick Silva, Yushin Okami and Jake Shields.
