Kai Kara-France Says He’s Looking to Prove That Flyweights Belong at UFC 234

Kai Kara-France says that he’s fighting for his entire division at UFC 234. Kara-France, who faces Raulian Paiva at the Saturday show, told MMAjunkie that in the wake of reports that the flyweight division could be shuttered soon, he knows that he needs to deliver.
“I’m focused to get a finish and showcase why the flyweights should be in the UFC and why we’re exciting,” Kara-France said.
The fighter made his debut on The Ultimate Fighter 24 and won his first official UFC fight at UFC Fight Night 142.
