Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson Share Tense Staredown at UFC 249 Presser

The UFC held a press conference for UFC 249: Khabib vs. Ferguson yesterday (March 6) in Las Vegas ahead of the UFC 248 weigh-ins. During the presser, UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and former interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson had a tense staredown, where Khabib Nurmagomedov actually kicked Ferguson’s interim title that he had placed on the floor when it was time to pose for photos. The two fighters are finally scheduled to fight one another at UFC 249. The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 18 in Brooklyn, New York. This will be the fifth time the fight has been scheduled in as many years. However, various issues have caused the fight to fall apart in the past. Hopefully, the fifth time will finally be the charm.
