Miesha Tate spoke with MMAjunkie for a new interview looking at Amanda Nunes’ win over Cris Cyborg at UFC 232. Highlights are below:

On Nunes’ win over Cris Cyborg: “I said, if she lands that right hand – if Cyborg doesn’t respect the fact that Amanda has enough power to knock her out, she’s going to be in trouble. I was like, ‘Cyborg needs a strategy.’ She’s never needed a strategy in a fight.”

On her own loss to Nunes: “Her simple jab feels like a right hand, and then her right hand feels like you got hit by a truck. I didn’t even know where I was half of that fight.”

On Nunes’ punches vs. Holly Holm’s: “It’s not even in the same league. Amanda hits way harder.”

On outlasting Ronda Rousey and Cyborg against Nunes: “One of the things (my resume) has to list now is that I lasted longer than Ronda (Rousey) and Cyborg combined.”

On how Nunes would fare as a boxer: “I think she’d be knocking girls out, for sure.”
