Rachael Ostovich Coughed Up Blood After Attack By Husband

TMZ reports that Rachael Ostovich has submitted new legal documents in Hawaii asking for a restraining order from her husband Arnold Berdon, which described exactly what he did to her. Berdon was arrested for second degree attempted murder after the domestic violence incident, which left Ostovich with a broken orbital bone and other injuries.

She wrote: “After a night out with family, [Arnold Berdon] punched me repeatedly on the head, face, ribs, making me fall to the ground. I gasped for breath and escaped thru [sic] balcony. I coughed up blood, threw up sev. times. Cracked orbital.”

She said that she has been abused by Berdon before, specifically on May 6 of this year when he punched her in the legs repeatedly, giving her multiple bruises. She claims that he is a danger to her and their five-year-old daughter. The court granted her request and now he must remain 100 feet away from them both.

Berdon was arrested on Tuesday and faces a life sentence in prison if he’s convicted. His family claim he plans to say he was defending himself on November 18 and didn’t start the fight. Ostovich was hospitalized for the injuries but is now recovering at home. She was set for a fight with Paige VanZant in January but that has been postponed.
