The Rock Buys UFC Fighter Themba Gorimbo A House

The Rock has helped out UFC fighter Themba Gorimbo by buying him a house. The actor and WWE alumn previously made a surprise visit to Gorimbo after the latter picked up his first UFC won with $7 in his bank account.

According to Fightful, Gorimbo had announced after the win that he was going to auction off his fight kit to help raise money for the building of a water well in his home village in Zimbabwe. Rock, who had previously talked about how he was in single digits in his bank account before he signed with WWE and became a star, posted to Twitter noting that he bought Gorimbo a home so he didn’t have to sleep in the back of his gym.

Rock wrote:
