ABC is solidifying its fall schedule, as it has renewed seven series including How to Get Away with Murder, black-ish and more. TV Line reports that the network handed out new seasons to those three shows along with freshman sitcom Splitting Up Together, Grey’s Anatomy spinoff Station 19 and legal drama For the People. American Housewife was also renewed.

Almost all of the renewals were expected and predicted in our official renewal predictions column, with the exception of For the People. That show has been a poor performer in the ratings and few expected it to return. However, it is also a Shonda Rhimes show and will be the last such new show on their schedule, as Rimes has moved to a production deal with Netflix. That makes its likely paring with How to Get Away with Murder a chance for ABC to advertise another season of their “TGIT” Thursdays, which is an important branding for the network.

Coupled with the network’s cancellations announced on Friday, only Agents of SHIELD is awaiting public word of its fate from ABC.
