Trevor Macy will executive produce alongside Flanagan, who has adapted several Stephen King properties including The Life of Chuck, Doctor Sleep, and Gerald’s Game.

The series is described as follows:
Carrie is “a bold and timely reimagining of the story of misfit high-schooler Carrie White, who has spent her life in seclusion with her domineering mother.
