Anya Taylor-Joy Takes On Chris Hemsworth In Final Furiosa Trailer

Furiosa arrives in theaters in just a couple of weeks, and the final trailer sees Anya Taylor-Joy’s titular heroine taking aim at Chris Hemsworth’s warlord. Warner Bros. Pictures released the last trailer for the Mad Max: Fury Road prequel on Wednesday, and you can check it out below.
The trailer previews the conflict between Furiosa (Taylor-Joy) and Dementus (Hemsworth), the Warlord whose army she grew up in. It promises an “epic battle for the wasteland” with looks at several action scenes.
Furiosa is directed by Mad Max creator George Miller from the script he co-wrote with his Fury Road collaborator Nico Lathouris. It stars Taylor-Joy, Hemsworth, Alyla Browne and Tom Burke. Releasing on May 24th, it is described as follows:
As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.
