CBS All-Access Renews Star Trek: Picard For Season Two Ahead of Premiere

With a little over a month before the first season premieres, Star Trek: Picard is already set for a second season. Deadline reports that CBS All-Access has renewed the show, which will premiere on January 23rd, 2020.

The second season will begin filming in the spring with an eye to a late 2020/early 2021 release. The new season sees Patrick Stewart reprise his role as the Star Trek: The Next Generation captain, along with Santiago Cabrera, Michelle Hurd, Alison Pill, Jonathan Frakes, Brent Spiner, Jeri Ryan, and Marina Sirtis.
