CBS Cancels Code Black After Three Seasons
That’s all she wrote for Code Black. CBS has opted to cancel the medical drama after three seasons. Executive producer Michael Seitzman confirmed the news on his Twitter account yesterday (May 23).
New episodes of the show will continue to air on Wednesdays on CBS. A special two-hour doubleheader is set for May 30. You can see Seitzman’s tweets on the cancellation below. The show has nine more episodes until its season finale.
The drama stars Marcia Gay Harden, Boris Kodjoe, Harry Ford, Benjamin Hollingsworth, William Allen Young, Emily Tyra, Noah Gray-Cabey, Emily Alyn Lind, Moon Bloodgood, Luis Guzman and Rob Lowe. Michael Seitzman, David Marshall Grant, Rob Bowman, Marti Noxon, Linda Goldstein Knowlton, Ryan McGarry and Mike Weiss are executive producers for the show. It’s produced by ABC TV Studios in association with CBS TV Studios.
