TMZ reports that a crew member has passed away after suffering a heart attack on the set of You Are My Friend, which led to a fall from a balcony. James Emswiller was the name of the crew member. He suffered a heart attack during a smoke break then fell off a second-story balcony. He was alone at the time and other crew members heard him falling. After he landed, a nurse tried to help but it was too late. When EMTS arrived he was in full cardiac arrest. He was taken to UPMC Mercy Hospital and pronounced dead three hours later.

Emswiller won an Emmy in 2015 for Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Limited Series for HBO’s Bessie. The Mr. Rogers biopic is currently filming Lebanon, PA and stars Tom Hanks as the children’s TV host.
